The revolutionary toilet paper brand will use the funds to accelerate its mission to help 2 billion people around the world access clean toilets and safe water.

Bolstered by support from The Craftory, Who Gives A Crap will continue to lead and challenge their category grace even more bathrooms with their taboo-busting toilet humor and simultaneously educate us on the urgent issues facing our society.

Better for your bum and the planet, Who Gives A Crap is plastic-free, provides carbon-neutral shipping and is continuously optimising its products and supply chain to reduce its environmental impact, while making a real societal change. Recognising that there is no need to cut down trees to make toilet paper, the brand takes bamboo, recycled paper from used textbooks and old office supplies to make rolls with 400 sheets of three-ply paper. Unlike packs you buy from the supermarket, each roll is individually wrapped in more recycled paper.

Not only has the brand revolutionised how this everyday commodity is made, bought and used, Who Gives A Crap also has an impressive business model to help those most in need, donating 50% of all profits to charity partners who work in water, hygiene and sanitation. Whilst Who Gives A Crap has already donated over £5 million to partners around the globe to build sustainable sanitation solutions, far more is required to meet its goal. It’s for this reason that Who Gives A Crap decided to take on its first ever capital, from a hand-picked group of like-minded investors, after being bootstrapped for 9 years.
